Harley Reed has developed an applied learning route in collaboration with CILT to afford practicing professionals an alternative path to qualifications and chartered membership at the Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.
For working professionals, this route provides a robust, practical way to demonstrate competence through workplace assignments rather than traditional exams.
Diploma Level
Typically completed in 6 months. Focused on building practical core competencies for logistics and transport roles.
Advanced Diploma Level
Typically completed in 12–15 months. Ideal for mid-to-senior professionals targeting chartered status.
Intensive Workshops
Delivered through a series of interactive 2-day workshops led by industry experts.
Assignment-Based
Demonstrate competence through structured assignments after each workshop, with direct tutor guidance.
Chartered Membership
Fast-track pathway toward recognized CILT qualifications and professional chartered status.

Who is eligible to join?
The CILT Applied Learning route is exclusively available to individuals currently working in a supply chain, logistics, or transport-related role. Note: Those not currently working in these sectors can enroll via the standard examination route.
