William is Chief Executive Officer of the Group, and serves as an executive board member for the subsidiary companies.
Educated at Eton College, William trained as an Engineer at Cambridge University and subsequently joined Ernst & Young in the London Transactions Advisory Services team where he gained his Chartered Accountant qualification. He started his career with Ernst & Young LLP in London, where he worked in the Transactions Advisory Services team. He has worked with a range of organisation sizes and national treasury departments in a range of countries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His early career had a focus in Corporate Finance Advisory, and in particular Corporate and Private Equity transactions, business restructuring, financial and operational and due diligence.
More recently, William has led a number of international consultancy engagements spanning procurement, finance and supply chain transformation. He is a CIPS Procurement Excellence Assessor and also lectures extensively on CIPS Corporate programmes.
William is a Chartered Accountant, admitted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Cambridge, and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
