The information presented in financial reports allows the user to assess a company’s performance and financial position. Aimed at non-finance managers, this course provides the practical knowledge needed to take the fear out of accounting and ensure confident participation in financial discussions. The course covers key areas of finance and budgeting. Participants on this course will acquire an understanding of the sources of financial information and explore the driving forces behind financial information. Participants will come to understand the role of financial reporting and financial statement analysis. In addition, participants will develop the skill to analyse and interpret key financial statements, cost control and cost reduction, as well as developing budgets and relating them to the financial statements and management reports.
