Harley Reed South Africa participated in the 2025 Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport South Africa (CILTSA) Women in Logistics, Transport and Supply Chain Empowerment Conference in Johannesburg.
The conference, themed “Fuelling Her Rise: Leadership in Motion”, was designed to empower, uplift and equip women across logistics, transport and supply chain.
Olive Gumikiriza, Country Manager for Harley Reed South Africa, was a featured speaker during the panel titled “Building Your Professional Powerhouse: Designations, Skills and the Future of Supply Chain.”
She highlighted the importance of continuous career development and how professional designations such as MILT, CMILT and FCILT will enhance credibility as well as build global recognition.
She reiterated the need for future readiness and how identifying evolving and emerging roles will shape the next era of logistics and supply chain.
