Harley Reed Ghana was amongst the few professional tuition providers that were offered an invitation to attend the Financial Literacy Seminar organized by the University of Ghana, SRC Legon Campus on 15th of July,2021.
This event was organised by the University of Ghana Business School to understand and effectively use the essential principles to smart money management and address the lack of financial awareness and financial illiteracy challenges in Ghana, the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) in collaboration with a team of dedicated partners, have launched a foundation to promote personal finance knowledge.
The team used the opportunity to engage students and stakeholders about the offerings of Harley Reed Ghana. Students were encouraged to develop competence in their areas of study through skills development short courses and chartered certifications from professional bodies. The team was represented by Country Director; Edith Uyovbukerhi, Training Manager; Stephanie E. Akorli and Client Service Executives; Selina Amanin Asare and Josephine Asare.
An agreement was therefore formed with the University of Ghana SRC and Harley Reed, to market professional charter programs to students and other stakeholders and also create awareness of the brand with a short presentation during the financial literacy program.
The Financial Literacy Month was duly launched after the college dean commissioned the movement. April has been declared as the Financial Literacy and Awareness month and has thus been lined up with series of events and Harley Reed Ghana tends to represent in such recurring events.
