A respected procurement professional, Tom served on the CIPS Global Congress from 2015 to 2018 and is an approved CIPS Associate and Procurement Excellence Programme Assessor. BIO=William is a highly experienced consultant with expertise in procurement, finance, and supply chain transformation. He holds Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
He began his career with Ernst & Young (EY) in London, specialising in corporate finance, private equity transactions, restructuring, and due diligence. William has since led numerous international consultancy assignments across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, working with governments, donor organisations, and private sector clients. He is a CIPS Procurement Excellence Assessor, a contributor to CIPS publications, and a regular lecturer on CIPS corporate programmes.

BIO=Sonia commenced her professional accountancy career with Deloitte and Touche in the UK, during which time she obtained her ACCA qualification. Upon qualifying, Sonia worked as a management accountant, eventually joining the global education provider BPP as a senior lecturer and ACCA programme manager. In 2003, her career took her to South Africa where she facilitated training in financial accounting, tax, financial management and management accounting for CA(SA) students across South Africa.
