Harley Reed has developed an applied learning route in collaboration with CILT to afford practicing professionals with an alternative route to qualifications and chartered membership at the Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. For those working, the applied learning route provides a robust way to demonstrate competence through assignments.
There are a range of pathways – individuals can therefore choose from Procurement, Transport, Inventory & Warehousing and Production pathways. For corporates choosing in-house programmes there are additional pathways such as retail logistics, port operations etc which can be chosen.
The programme is delivered through a series of intensive 2-day workshops. After each workshop, individuals will have a period of time to submit their assignments under guidance of a tutor. The programme typically takes 6 months at the Diploma level and 12-15 months at the Advanced Diploma level.
Who is eligible to join?
The CILT Applied Learning route is only available to individuals working in a supply chain, logistics or transport related role. Those not currently working in those areas can opt for the examination route.
